Photographer’s Note

It is very hard to find some data about this interesting place in hart of Corsica.
Wonderful old bridge on the crosroad. One way to Corte and anoter to Bastia if you come from Ille Rouse.
I took some information from TE member Pierre BONA (chinchini) , Pierre, don´t be angry. It is only english info I found on net.

Agglomeration on the commune of MOROSAGLIA (1025 inhabitants – 800m of altitude), PONTE-LECCIA is located at 14 km of the village to itself. It is a road and rail junction significant for CORSICA.
The structure that you see on the right is a genoese bridge which makes it possible to cross the GOLO, principal coastal river of the island. With the reverse of that of ALTIANI which is much narrower and in the course of being doubled by a new bridge in order to preserve it, the bridge genoese of PONTE-LECCIA is with double track and is borrowed by the RN 193.

Lepo ujet kamniti most in zanimiva pokrajina.
Posebej nazobčane gore v ozadju so mi posebej všeč.Malo spominjajo na hrvaški Velebit.

Hi Marjan,
Well composed with an interesting background of rolling hills leading to the high mountain. You did a good job of controlling the strong light reflecting off the bridge. The foreground too is well framed with the little trees which also provide good contrast. Well captured, Marjan. Have a good weekend.

Well composed photo using the diagonal lines of the bridge to lead us into the frame and the mountains in the background. I also like the shadow efect on the repeating arches.

You've selected a good POV for this shot, Marjan, and achieved a good balance between the amount of the frame that the bridge occupies and the countryside in the background. The mountain range offset to the left also provides a nice balance to the overall image. Good DOF and very natural colours. Cheers . . . David
