Photographer’s Note

At the entry of the small village of PIEDICROCE, are the ruins of an old monastery of which there remains the bell-tower and a weak part of the walls.
Do not seek to read the sign, the mentions carried are those hereafter:
- 1485 Founded by Franciscans
- 1790 Meet between Napoleon Bonaparte and Pascal Paoli
- 1943 Destruction by the Germans.
CORSICA is constellated with old convents, some in excellent state and occupied, others in ruins like this one or as his neighbour with the Collar of Saint-Anthony which was already presented on TE but of which I will do it to you the pleasure of poster soon my version.

In order to restore you a natural image, I gummed a vehicle and a person, resize then added sharpness/contrast.
I hope you like it.
