I propose to this night cliché of the frontage of the Church Our Lady of the Assumption to you ("A Chjesa di Assunta"), of Piedicorti-di-Caggio, in Corsica

The Parish church Our Lady of the Assumption has been completely réenovated at the 19th century (1821, like writing on engraving), is classified "Historic building".
The frontage is baroque, the splendid bell-tower on 4 floors is built with human material re-employment romans(masques, decorated lintel).
At the interior, 7 furnace bridges decorated with old fabrics whose Deposition, rules out of wood of Antoine saint.

photo caught with 1600 Iso (28mm), I tried to make a compo which gathers at the same time the details on the wall, on the left, in arc of circle, and thirds regulate it.

A difficult shot very well captured. At first your notes are good, the picture is very well framed and with a excelent enquadrement of levels in the frame you got. Nice light contrast with this nice architectural in and old square building perspective. The intense clear near dark blue sky is a must!

Great moment and a well done composition.

Bonjour Loic,
une prise original avec d'excellents jeux d'ombres et de lumières.
Pas facile d'appliquer la règle des tiers à un tel sujet.
C'est chouette d'avoir pu garder le bleu du ciel bien visible.
Un tres bon document.

Bonjour Loïc,
Très beau cadrage serré sur cette façade d'église avec ce bestiaire ceinture ce tympan.
Vous avez su habilement composer avec le ciel, la lanterne et l'édifice religieux.
L'éclairage de la lanterne est parfait (pas de surex), doux et mettant en valeur le sujet principal.
C'est une réussite.

Une très belle lumière pas facile à capter compte tenu des gros contrastes. J'aime bien aussi le cadrage qui inclue la sculpture comme un élément accessoire à coté de la lanterne.

Unique take on this old building. Metering for the light makes for some nice play with the shadows on the facade of the old building. Good detail and colors are a nice addition to this one.
