Corsica railroad

The Bastia line - Ajaccio was completed in 1894, and the antenna towards Calvi finished in 1890. On the Eastern coast, Ghisonaccia was reached in 1888, and Oporto Vecchio in 1935. Bonifacio, envisaged, never saw any train. At the beginning, the exploitation was entrusted to the Company of the Railroads Départementaux.
