San Michele de Murato Photo

Photographer’s Note

Pisan church San Michele de Murato .
Corsica's most remarkable example of a Romanesque church; it was constructed from green serpentine and white limestone. Linger in the village of Murato where Corsica's first coins depicting the moor's head were minted.
It si from XII cent. and "muste see" placae on Corasica. From this sice is less atractiveabut on TE is some of front shot and I decide to publish this side look.
Unfortunatly it was closed and I have not interior of this interesting churche.

This is one of the amazing buildings I've ever seen...the design formed by the stones of varied colours makes this most abstract, yet so beautiful. You show us a beautiful view where this graphical effect is very clearly visible. Thanks for sharing this unusual yet remarkable architecture

Hi Marjan,
I had never seen this type of construction with stones of different color in a romanesque church. The pop-art effect that offers to us is fantastic, it would almost say that it designed Andy Warhol .....
Good photo, with excellent frame, great perspective, a magnificent sky and very natural colors.

Wow! E ovakvu crkvu jos nisam video. Ovo kao da je delo nekakvog modernog dizajnera. Dopada mi se.

Wow! Res zanimiva.So pa skrbno izbirali gradbeni material.Odlična ostrina in barve.Tista hiša spodaj desno malo moti.Morda samo mene.Jaz bi stopil en korak bolj levo in slikal,tako,da bi jo skril. Lep pozdrav!

Zdravo Marjan,
prekrasna cerkvica v izredno zanimivem slogu. Kaj takega se nisem videl. Skoda da je bila zaprta in da nisi mogel notri... to je res sra... kolkokrat pa gre clovk tam mimo, da bi reku, ahh sej bomo sli drugic. Saj vidis slike, ma ni isto. Krasna fotka!
