Photographer’s Note

Village Castagniccia, Morosaglia (Merusaglia) is known as the birthplace of "Babbu di a Patria" Pasquale Paoli. There was born in 1725. His house is a museum and houses his tomb.
Morosaglia consists of houses with roofs of shale roofing. The cliché is the most photographed house, the house of Alpa. It is this reputation to its location on a pad. It is representative of houses in the villages of Upper Corsica.
The municipality is very broad and includes several hamlets including Ponte Leccia.
