St Peter and St Paul of Lumio

Chapel of the XIème sc (roman style) is located in the cemetery of Lumio Balagne. It was built on the site of an early Christian chapel, built itself on an ancient pagan temple. The existence of an ancient chapel seems to be confirmed by the reuse of materials in the south and west facades.
Rebuilt in the eighteenth sc, she was wearing a vault penetration. It is remarkable for its two gargoyles on either side of the door lintel monolith of the apse.
Inside you can admire a single nave and an apse and a vaulted apse Pisan influence, with capitals.

It is a listed monument since July 30, 1980 for its outdoor setting.
