Photographer’s Note

The Lake Ninu, 1743m (5719 ft). Source of river Tavignanu, this lake is of glacial origin.
It is frozen 5 to 6 months in the year.
In spite of its relative insulation it is quite attended , in particular by the horses, cows, pigs and hikers...;-)
It is located on the course of the famous GR 20, considered by many to be the most challenging long distance hiking route in all of Western Europe.
