Another photo from my hike last Sunday on the edge of Revellata. Having shown the Grotte marine calves , here is a picture of the little bush that covers the site.

At the bottom of the bay, you can see Calvi on its promontory. Western Corsica is mainly composed of granites.
Balagne region of Corsica, located on the western side of the island is a granite magma. The slow cooling of magma allowed the molecules to come together to form crystals visible to the naked eye. Between Lozari and Calvi, this rock is enriched with silica, giving crystals of quartz and its lighter color.
