Photographer’s Note

The title of this picture recalls calves marins (monk seals) which inhabited the cave. They disappeared more than 50 years, killed by the fishermen with whom they competed. Decimated rifle or grenade, they do not recur on the Corsican coast since 1960.

This cave is located on the rocky coast, facing west, from the tip of the Revellata. A beautiful walk in the sun along the cliffs near Calvi. Nature of parent-colored flowers from the clutches of witches cists yellows, immortal, especially juniper and blue rosemary blossoms that inundates its fragrance .... besides many other endemic species, including two rare, the armérie of Soleirol and Seseli early.

The center of Corsica was under water and the sun ...
and finally a goodbye to our friend who deserted Chinchini again Corsica! Bon voyage!
