Fire at CALENZANA 1 Photo

Photographer’s Note

Quickly today a very topical photo with this TANKER PLANE releasing its water above the blazing inferno. The shot one was made there is less than two hours!
The fire started yesterday evening around 20 hours. Poked by an increasingly violent wind (bursts of mistral more than 100 Km/h), it quickly became extensive, being propagated quickly towards the communes of LUMIO and MONTEGROSSO in the East of CALENZANA.
Other photographs will follow to show you the extent of the disaster.

ça y'est, les feux commencent, quelle catastrophe !
en tout cas tu as bien profité de l'occasion pour capturer ce canadaire en plein largage dans un ciel tres beau avec cette fumée mélangée aux nuages.

merci pour ce photo avec ton commentaire, j'espere, qui ces feux vont bientot finir. Aujourd'hui j'ai entendu, qui ce n'etat pas un accident. Je suis vraimend bulverse parce que la Corse est le pay magnifique.Apart ca ton photo est tres dynamique, bien fait.

J'ai entendu l'info ce matin à la radio. il parlait de la Balagne et du Nubbio. Et le vent est annoncé !!
Encore cette belle forêt qui va deguster.
C'est dramatique.
c'est la triste réalité de chaque été.

Great shot.I like the composition and point of view.Very good colors,light and sharpness.I like the contrast between the earth and the sky.I like the detail of the plain.Very good job!

Chaque année c'est malheureusment pareil... De plus, j'ai vu le reportage sur le journal de France2 où ils disaient que les avions étaient tombés en panne pendant 1 heure...
La photo est en tout cas bien prise mais j'espère que ce genre d'acte criminel diminuera dans l'avenir...

Les feux de forets sont de reels problemes, surtout qu'en ce moment ca doit etre bien sec, faut etre vigilent, cela modifie tellement un paysage. Les couleurs de l'image sont superbe, c'est toujours impressionnant de voire un canadaire decharger des tonnes d'eau.

Hello Pierre. Sorry to hear about the forest fires in Corse, but congratulations to you for making this exciting documentary photo with the water plane going above the affected area. The action and drame of the situation is well presented. I hope the amount of damage can be limited in the best way possible.

Bonjour Pierre,
C'est une photo vraiment impressionnante !
L'exposition est très bonne et le ciel est d'un joli bleu.
Le cadrage est excellent.
La scène est dramatique et la photo est vraiment bonne.
C'est une bonne manière de rendre hommage aux pilotes et aux pompiers en général.
