Photographer’s Note

One of the rare storms of this autumn on the town of Bastia, indeed for the premiere time since years 89/90 it does not rain or almost not on Corsica, c'est the secheress Pas of snow in mountain and not of rain in plain, a temperature extremement soft with sometimes 20° and a sea has 15/16°, if that does not move Ca promises a summer more than hot for the fires. change climatic?????!!!!!!!

Encore une fois tu postes une image impressionnante. D'ailleurs c'est rare un orage à cette saison ! C'est effectivement assez révélateur des changements du climat.

Et on ajoutera: pas de neige meme en montagne ce qui pour les amateurs de ski est deprimant, quand a toi je vois que tu chasses toujours les phenomenes meteo et les images spectaculaires, encore une fois excellente celle la, on voit bien les structures de la ville qui ressortent bien grace a l'eclairage et au feu d'artifice naturel, bravo !

Une image prise depuis les hauteurs nous faisant découvrir le ciel et la terre ! Magnifique prise de vue de cet éclair géant. J'ai l'impression que la foudre a dû tomber sur Bastia à voir l'éclair rejoignant la terre.
Eh oui, le réchauffement climatique doit vraisemblablement avoir une influence !

hi Dominique, fabulous...I love thunderstorms, the lightnings to be more precise, though i never even tried to photograpg any. it probably takes a little patiernce to get one as clearly as here, a great plus are the heavy purple clouds over the city...fantastic view.

Hello Dominique, and happy new year. You were at the right place at the right time; the wide view across the scenery would already make a pleasant photo but of course the lightning that you were able to include adds a considerable sense of drama. Very moody with the lights of Bastia on the ground, and the colorfully tinted sky.

Very dramatic work! Your high up vantage point is great to capture the town below and also the vast magneta sky, very beautiful. Exposure is well managed and I know it's quite difficult to capture lightning...and the one you've got is really strong. Amazing capture, tfs.

Enfin te voilà M. Météo et cela fait plaisir. Bien que certains endroits soient un npeu surex c'est bien dynamique avec les lumières de la ville, l'éclair qui tombe sur ta maison ??? et les nuages si ménaçants. J'aime beaucoup les "étoiles" des lumières aussi.

Bonjour Dominique,
C'est un instant décisif très bien rendu plus qu'une photo de lieux. Le POV est excellent avec cette vue sur la ville et ses environs afin de rendre compte de l'ampleur du phénomène.

Mi³o zajrzeæ na TE i zobaczyæ Twoje prace. Wszystkie wspania³e i jedna fotka, lepsza od drugiej. Mozna siedziec tak przed monitorem i podziwiac bez koñca. Wiem, ze punkty tu nie maj¹ wiêkszego znaczenia. Najwa¿niejsze, ¿e s¹ tacy, którzy potrafi¹ piêknie pokazaæ si³ê natury i podzieliæ siê tym z innymi.

Magnifique cet éclair... c'est puissant, c'est beau. Tu avais un bon POV. J'adore la lumière violette de l'éclair qui illumine le nuage et tout l'arrière plan. Beau travail! Plus sérieusement, je pense que malheureusement, tu peux enlever les points d'interrogation à réchauffement climatique.

Bonjour, Dominique. Les éclairs sont impressionnants. Comme le contraste entre la ville éclairée et le ciel et la mer sombres. Très bonne gestion de la lumière. Quand on voit cela et qu'on essaie de s'imaginer la photo sans la lumière de la ville, on peut comprendre que nos ancêtres avaient peur de l'orage.
