A view from the old port of Bastia I presented several times:

This time, a photo taken on the docks with background, the old Genoese cited "A Bastiglia" which takes its name Bastia. Bastia's history goes back far in time. Ptolemais already talk of a port there.
Later, it became the capital of the island Genoese. The Genoese built first a fort (1353) which became the residence of the Governor, and houses and the Cathedral of Santa Maria (1495). This new district was called "A Terranova (New Town). At its feet, the natural loop of the "old port of Bastia, which formed a hamlet is Porto Cardo. The fishermen had settled in this place has long since Ptolémaïs stue a port already in place.
Just behind the old port, the area inhabited by the Corsicans called "A Terravecchja. The latter is caught between the mountains and Porto Cardo.

superbe point de vue du vieux port de Bastia, c'est très jolie avec ces magnifiques couleurs et détails, jolie réflection dans l'eau , Une vrai 'Carte Postale' ..

Such an attractive view of the city's old port. The soft colours are lovely and so is the pleasant light. It adds a peaceful atmosphere to the view. The composition is good and I love the reflections in the water a lot. Thanks for sharing!

Bonsoir Marie,

Belle vue du Vieux Port et des maisons de Terra Vecchia en arrière-plan, avec en prime les façades qui se reflètent dans l'eau. On ne se croirait pas en plein mois de décembre ! J'ai moi-même posté une photo du Vieux Port, il y a quelques semaines.
