Photographer’s Note

Altagene is a village of 41 inhabitants in the region of "Alta rocca" in the south of Corsica. The loneliness of the place and its clean air make it possible to relax himself towards amazing country landscapes.

Altagene est un village de 41 habitants du Rocher dans le sud de la Corse La solitude de l'endroit et la qualité de l'air permettent de se relaxer en admirant des surprenants paysages rurale.

Altagene è un villaggio di 41 abitanti della regione dell'Alta Rocca nella Corsica del Sud. La solitudine del luogo e la purezza dell'aria rendono possibile rilassarsi ed ammirare straordinari paesaggi campestri.

Bonjour Bobo ,
J'aime beaucoup cette scène rurale particulièrement charmante , pleine de couleur et soleil. Je comprends le plaisir que tu as eu à la photographier . Et puis , ce coind de Corse est particulièrement beau .

Striking and wonderful colors .. great sky .. the earth is a beautiful rustic and rural clutter on a floor of green .. well seen image .. perhaps the way the horses are framed and the road give it a well defined composition even with how "busy" it is .. very nice. take care, John

These vibrant colors are amazing. I love how the winding road ends right in the lower left corner of the picture and just the simple fact that there is so much to explore in this picture. The very dramatic, deep blue sky tops it all of.

Ciao Bobo. Queste condizioni rendono impossibile, soprattutto per uno con il tuo occhio, non realizzare scatti come questo. La profondità è garantita dalla sterrata tortuosa. Incisivi i colori di tetti e animali. Gran contrasto e luminosità. Dulcis in fundo l'opera d'arte del cielo.

una composizione semplicemente spettacolare, una natura che esplode in tutte le sue manifestazioni, un villaggio da fiaba, la minuscola stradina che lo raggiunge, i cavalli, un cielo da brividi: mi pare che gli ingredienti ci siano tutti per dire che hai scattato una splendida foto! Hi Bobo.
The stunning sky and the dirt track winding its way into the picture make this a very good landscape. It has great depth, and fine colours without too much contrast or saturation. Maybe I would have tried to clone out the red van, because I think it is already a 'busy' picture, but hardly important. Very nicely done - it looks a delightful village.

Beautiful photo. Several charming and picturesque details are visible on the photo. The composition is very beautiful. It a winding road leads our look to the buildings. The sky is beautiful likewise. The photo demonstrates Korzika romantic mood wonderfully. Fortunately, I may have looked at this beautiful island in 1999. We were roaming until almost three weeks on his wonderful landscapes and in his cities. Unfortunately, I did not have a digital camera yet then. ma per le nuvole come fai? Nel dubbio, te le porti da casa e le piazzi li' con indifferenza in modo che facciano da sfondo per i tuoi panorami?
Belle le macchie di colore qui e li' nel verde, ma sopra a tutto (e soprattutto) quel cielo!!!

se fossi ragazzino mi farei un poster di questa foto e me la appenderei in camera, come si faceva una volta, ricordi? Gran bella immagine, poetica ed antistress. Forse avrei fatto sparire quel furgoncino rosso, ma essendo in posizione marginale più di tanto non disturba. eccellente lavoro!

You polariser has worked very well on the sky here, Bobo, to provide a striking backdrop to this quiet rural scene. The image feels a little cluttered but is nevertheless a realistic capture of this little-visited corner of Corsica. Cheers . . . David
