Headlight of Alistro, on the heights of Alistro in the North of the point of Aléria.
This headlight, put enservice in 1864, is located at two kilometers inside the grounds on the heights of Alistro. Not announcing any particular danger, it is however an essential bench mark between Solenzara and Bastia, zone punt and lagunaire. The tower, built with 50 meters of a semaphore, is next to a building sheltering two residences of guards. Its fire with 2 glares 10s is lit by a lamp of 180 W Perché to 96 meters above the sea level, it has a luminous range of 23 miles (approximately 42 km). It is guarded but vist not. Its geographical co-ordinates are:

* October 15, 1864: light fixed white of first order on an octagonal stone lathe of size and base of 25m height.
* May 21, 1910: fire 2 white glares every 10 seconds. |
