Photographer’s Note

The LAMA forms part of the family of camélidés is of average size, smaller than camel and dromedary. It largest is camélidé of the New World: weight 80-120 kg, height with the garrot 1,25 m. It does not have a bump. Its longer ears and its feet more split than the camel. It is a little larger than the guanaco, it is equipped with callosities for the knees and the chest. The fleece is long and thick. The dress varies much. That was photographed on the site of Rivetted Bella or the owner makes l?élevage of it to clean his grounds of the abundant maquis.

Distribution: Spangled and alpacas live in the Andes in South America equipped with a herbaceous alpine vegetation: Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Colombia. They resist the seasonal malnutrition. In the high plateau of Peru, it is a domestic animal. The LAMA was introduced in Europe, CEI and in the USA.

Moeurs: It is very soft. It is defended while spitting of the saliva mingled with food.

Comme toujours des commentaires très instructifs.
J'aime bien l'attitude de l'animal avec ses oreilles en arrière, façon de dire ne viens pas plus près mon gars sinon...
De plus la netteté de l'image sur le lama est parfaite.
Bravo.

I have never seen a black and white Lama before. I thought they were all brown. This one is beautifull with it's pattern and the fur looks really soft, and with good details.

ca dois etre un jeune lama pour qu'il ne soit pas farouche !
Il semble avoir le poil doux et luisant ;-)

Belle photo en tout cas, on dirait qu'il pose pour toi !
Super cadrage, l'arbre du fond est un peu surexposé mais c'est pas genant !
Je savais pas qu'il y avait des lama en corse, j'irais au lit moins bete !

Le lama noir et blanc est plus rare (enfin, me semble-t-il ?) que le lama à robe rousse. Très belle prise de vue. Note d'accompagnement très détaillée et intéressante.

Un lama en Corse c'est vrai que l'idée est bonne pour nettoyer les terres , c'est quand même original , un super cadrage , vraiment bien fait .

A quelques kilomètres d'Ile Rousse et de Calvi, Lama vieux village de guerriers niché au pied du Monte Astu....Mince je me suis trompé de photo!
Je recommence. Contraste,originalité, netteté, question lama ta photo touche au but.

Juste une petite remarque le pelage de cet animal me semble un peu tiré vers le bleu (ombre sous nuage et balance des blanc trompée?)

Beau lama! Les détails et les couleurs sont forts. L'arrière-plan mets, l'animal, bien en valeur. Bien vu, bien annoté.

Surprenant ! Voilà une rencontre que je n'aurais jamais imaginée faire en Corse. J'ai appris quelque chose aujourd'hui, je ne connaissais pas cette "utilité" du lama.

Les détails sont excellents et la profondeur de champ bien maîtrisée. Un joli (et inattendu) "portrait", Georges.

I Lama's from Denmark - but I never seen this color combination. I like the framming of this photo and the position you captured the animal - good work indeed. Thanks for sharing.

Nous qui étions allés cet été au Pérou pour voir des lamas... Il va maintenant falloir que j'explique à ma femme qu'on les avait loupés lors de nos précédents séjours en Corse !
