This photo was taken from the deck of the ship. After the rain fell.

Tahaa is an island located among the Society Islands, in French Polynesia, an overseas territory of France in the Pacific Ocean. The islands of Tahaa and neighboring Raiatea are enclosed by the same coral reef, and may once have been a single island.
Tahaa produces 70-80% of all French Polynesia's vanilla. Because of the pervasive aroma of vanilla, Tahaa is known as the "Vanilla Island". Tahaa's pearls are of exceptional quality.

Hello Leonor,
A good capture of this tropical paradise. The little jetty makes a good lead line towards the palm covered coastline. Good colours and clarity.

Olá Leonor, esses cruzeiros são mesmo altos. Fico sempre com a sensação que as fotos são tiradas de avião. Bonita vista do paraíso verdejante. Gosto muito de ver a mudança climatérica à medida que se avança lá para trás onde já deve estar a chover certamente. Que lugar majestoso e atraente. Imagino que haja caminhadas floresta adentro e muito poucas pessoas a fazê-las...

que cartão postal!
Gostei daquela pequena cabana no prolongamento do cais. A floresta, densa, ao fundo também deixa a fotografia mais rica.
Também gostei da textura, meio que suave, das nuvens.
