Photographer’s Note

The domestic airport of Papeete is really small, just one gate. I found it funny how the lugages were placed on the way.

7 minutes is what separates Peppete from Moorea. A very short flight worth the view. Unfortunatly they don't allow pictures during the flight anymore.

Hi Flavia,
Looks very relaxed small scale aviation without long queues for security checks and such. The baggage cart is a nice extra detail. Surprising that they restrict taking photos during flight. I haven't heard much warnings about using electronic equipment lately.

Bela tomada aqui, Flavia. A composição está muito interessante, com a inclusão da bagagem no primeiro plano.
Interessante eles não permitirem fotos durante os vôos. Deve ser apenas pelo pequeno tempo de vôo, né?

Very nice view of small aircraft travel scene, baggages on push trolley and a small airport strip. This is very common for rural air service.

You are a woman in a rush, Flavia, but you have not forgotten to have a camera and take a shot. That is the passion! Nice work.

que legal ver esse aviaõ aqui no TE, é um Twin Otter, semelhante ao nosso Bandeirante, muito conhecido pelos brasileiros! Interessante esse tempo de vôo, 7 min, acho que os preparativos do vôo devem demorar o dobro do tempo, hehe! Gostei dessas malas no 1o. plano, ou estão ansiosas pra embaracar ou ficaram pra trás!

No pictures from Peppete to Moorea? Why? Are they afraid that people get fantastic shots and start competing with the local photographers? It can't be a security issue in such an isolated place. At least your shot with the relaxed handling of luggage doesn't suggest security being a major problem. Nice journalistic touch in getting the experience what you go through to get to paradise.
