Photographer’s Note

Another view of the beach in Papeete while the sun was rising. I woke-up very early not to miss any time during my short visit to this paradise. At this time in the morning I was the only one on the beach, just accompanied by a hotel's empoyee who was cleaning the beach and preparing the chairs. We stayed at the Sofitel Hotel in Papeete, and the view here is from its beach having on the back ground the mountain of Moorea. We could stay just to days, but it was really worted!

Fantastic picture Flavia!
Amazing composition and frame.
Sea color is wonderful and of course the ship's silhouette is excellent.Very well done

Hello Flavia! Nice entering with the tiny waves moving to the beach and leading us all the way out to these beautiful boats out there with the mountain chain in the back. Lucky you, you stayed in a Sofitel. I normally end up in a tent :) I hope it is not too late to say Happy New Year ... but I guess I can still say that. Barbara.

Hi Flavia,

The great power of this composition is the high horizon. It gives something mysterious to the two ships meeting by this island in the distance.

Flavia, que previlegio em posder nos mostrt fotos da polinesia frnacesa. Um local que somente 10 TE membros mostraram fotos aqui. A verticalidade da sua imagem com as ondas a frente e os barcos com as monthanhas ao fundo da uma boa composicao. As cores pasteis fazem um ar de ternura.

C'est vraiment paradisiaque. Cette image incite aux voyages. La composition est très agréable, les tons sont softs.
Je vois que tu y as passé de très belles vacances.

Hello Flavia,
This is a beautiful image with soft morning light and a very calm atmosphere.
I particularly like the way you have framed it with a wide-angle view leading from the beach in the foreground all the way up to the pastel-coloured mountains and sky. The boats are also nicely positioned as a focus of attention.

Hi Flavia, I'm afraid I'm a sucker for anything with a boat in it! And this certainly doesn't disappoint. Nicely balanced shot with some very unusual colours in the sea. The mountains in the distance provide a stunning backdrop.
