Photographer’s Note

Here's another shot from "les iles du Salut" in French Guiana. it's the same place as my precedent photography of the reclusion center but seen from the outside of the batiment. You can find more detailed informations on the first one.

i used Photoshop elements 2.0 to balance the amount of lights and darks to correct exposure.i also increased the contrast +10 and colors saturation +4

hi michael,
i feel the harsh light is still effecting your post keeping in view the shadows even after the adjustments done to your photo.also the shades carry a bit of unrealistic look when compared to the background.but i liked your composition.a little bit more of contrast adjustment wont do any harm which you can try out for correction.nice work.
