Photographer’s Note
There isn't realy a lot I can say about the Arc De Triomphe that hasn't already been said already. It stands at the top of the Champs Elysee and is currently being renovated on the outside (I think that may explain why the top tier of lights has been switched off).

a fantastic picture of the place David..it looks very good without the top lights I think and you shot it beautifuly...3 light and color zones in the picture are very good and the lamps turned into animatic stars made the picture interesting (gave it a christmas feeling too :)..thanks...

Very nicely done. I immediately though how scary would have been to shoot it while Paris traffic went by.

A very nice capture of the Arch. It is easy to tell which cars are coming and which are going. Nice composition.

You know what? You are a very lucky guy to be able to play with this camera! :o) I probably will never be able to afford this camera for myself! You have nicely done this shot. :o) I like it very much. One thing I would try though, is a bit longer exposure time so that the lights of the cars would be longer and would hide the car "ghosts" themselves.

Excellent point de vue choisi. Le moment choisi et le style donnée à l'image permettent de montrer ce monument célèbre d'une façon moins typique qu'à l'habitude. Excellent utilisation des phares des voitures.

hello again david, seeing you photographs after a long time
this one is very very good. everything here fomr the composition to the exposure is brilliant, the 4 stars created by the lights makes it even more symmetrical and perfect
really nice one

Hi David
Just been there. Great nightshot. Long exposure works very well. Have to try that also when I get there again.
Good job.
