Photographer’s Note

In the field of the Castle of Chantilly in particular the castle of Enghien is. Leant with the forest, this large building in length was high in 1769 by the architect Jean-François Leroy, to accommodate the many guests of princes de Condé. At the XVIIIème century, Chantilly was indeed a place of festivals and huntings where readily ambassadors and crowned heads went, and the castle was not enough large to place all the hosts. The castle of Enghien shelters today the apartments of the members of the Institute of France who take care on the destiny of Chantilly.
