Photographer’s Note

Ce Rouge-gorge est une des espèces que vous pourrez voir au parc du Marquenterre.
En plus de cela, celui-ci n'était pas du tout farouche. Il a commencé à faire quelque pose photographique près de moi mais comme certains faisaient des photos je n'ai pas osé bouger. Evidemment c'est toujours dans ces moments là que l'appareil est rangé et que vous ne pouvez pas prendre de photos. Mais heuresement il s'est mi à voler et se poser sur une branche juste derrière moi alors j'ai tenté ma chance, sorti mon appareil et j'ai eu le temps de prendre cette photo. Le rouge-gorge est à peu près à 1m de moi.

En ce qui concerne le post-process j'ai juste ajouté un cadre blanc.

Nice shot of this bird Cyril. I like your composition with the twig its on and amongst the rest of the tree. Very sharp, good contrast and colour.
The robin is associated with winter over here, and depicted on numerous Christmas cards. Is it the same where you live?

Quelle chance, ce n'est pas à moi que ça arriverait...Mais aussi bravo au réflexe du photographe qui nous permet d'admirer de près cet oiseau charmant.
Les couleurs sont vraiment magnifiques, il y avait juste un rayon par hasard pour illuminer la partie orange.

You must much luck have to this take photograph of this Robin, Cyril, it's not easy for taken of this bird , but this is very well, the autumn leaves with the yellow red brow colours its fantastic.

Toute la difficulté ici consistais a faire une mise au point correct au travers des branches sur le Rouge-gorge et cela a été très bien travaillé bravo.
Pour ce qui est de la lumière elle est superbe peut être une légère surex au niveau du ventre de l'oiseau mais vraiment rien de bien méchant.

Great capture, Cyril. Good colors not only of bird but also of leaves. It seems to me your camera hasn't a long focal lenght: so you was very able to have this bird so close, sharp and on focus. Compliments

Good colors and compo with all those leaves, indeed your focus was a little bit behind the bird but still not disturbing.

Hi Ciryl. I had to look several times at this picture to really appreciate what you have done here. It looks nicely complex and crowded and I firstly thought that this playful rouge gorge wasn't singled out enough - but throurgh the several focal layers at play here is works very well. The blue water is an atractive overall background & Imlik the colours & light play very much. Very fine job.

Ces rouges gorges ont quelque chose de très esthétique, mais sont également difficiles à photographier (bien qu'ils ne soient pas farouches pour deux sous !). Continue à nous offrir de belles images de notre région !

Beautiful shot of the robin, nicely placed on the delicate branch in front of the colorful leaves. I think given the difficult light, you did a very good job handling the exposure and retaining detail and colors in the bird's plumage. The shallow DOF towards the blue background is also nice. Well done, Cyril.

Voici un oiseau amical ! L'éclaboussure du rouge sur le sein est si belle contre ces feuilles vertes.

Here is a friendly bird! The splash of red on the breast is so lovely against those green leaves.

C'est le rêve de tout photographe : pouvoir être prêt au bon moment avec la bonne lumière. Mais avec les animaux c'est quasiment impossible à moins d'être équipé comme un pro et de se mettre à l'affût pendant des heures. Bravo.
