Photographer’s Note
In the centre of the western facade of the Cathedral Notre-Dame, the portal of the " Beau Dieu " introduces, on the pier separating both leaves, a big statue of Christ blessing the crowd, famous presentation under the name of "Beau Dieu". The portal was, in epoch, coloured.The show " Amiens, the coloured cathedral ", offers to restore in summer the polychromies of the gothic portals of Notre-Dame of Amiens.
