Photographer’s Note

On Saturday May 31 first day of the meeting in Lille, a meeting which starts in Villeneuve d' Ascq, with the whole beginning of the ballade around the lake of the héron and this in spite of " the bad hour "
11:00 of the morning " surrounding vegetation "
and a gray sky like often in north, to help of my gray filter 121 to heat the atmosphere, then still after a p' tit fifteen minutes of waiting I have finally to profit from a p' tit respite of clear sky but of some minute only, in order to immortaliser this small hunting lodge, a little history At the time of l' installation of the new city of Villeneuve d' Ascq, they were three villages (Ascq, Annappes and Flers) the town planners knew to combine l' useful to l' pleasant by arranging six lakes, retaining tanks of rainwater, allowing a regular infiltration. Lake of the Castle, lake of the Spaniards, lake Midsummer's Day, Lake Quicampoix, Lake Canteleu and the vast lake of Héron) decorate the city thus and are as many places of stroll and dawdling. The full rotation can give place to a walk continues… d' a good dozen kilometers. The few 110 hectares d' water and of greenery constituting the Park of Héron form remarkable milked d' union enters the City and the arable lands, a vast zone of nature downtown. In 1995,73 ha of the park were classified " natural reserve volontaire". Since 2002, the park of the héron is managed by l' Natural space Lille metropolis. A beautiful old house, presented in this well balanced composition!
The closed iron gate doesn't exactly invite me inside but at least I'm allowed to look...
Rich colours and good details, and I notice the well trimmed tree outside!

la patience et un peu de magie t'ont permis de capturer une superbe lumière et donner un très beau rendu des couleurs et des textures de ce pavillon.Le rouge de la brique et des tuiles sont mis en valeur par ce bel environnement et le ciel au doux bleu
J'aime beaucoup ce cadrage avec la légère diagonale et l'arbre qui commence à se réveiller.Une très belle composition bien équilibrée

Bonjour, Dominique. D'abord, un cadrage intéressant avec cet arbre bien placé qui équilibre bien la composition. Je crois que le filtre a fait du bon travail ici en donnant plus de contraste dans le ciel. Je trouve aussi que la texture de la brique est bien rendue, ce qui détache bien la maison de l'arrière-plan.

Un bien joli relais de chasse situé parmi un magnifique parc et de lacs.
Le cadrage est parfaitement choisi pour valoriser ce pavillon de chasse.
L'utilisation du filtre a été très pertinente pour donner de l'éclat au ciel.

Une belle composition à la base et surtout un bon traitement t'on permis d'enjoliver un peu la réalité et de redonner des couleurs à ce bâtiment de briques avec un certain cachet.
Bonne utilisation du filtre gris qui permet de gagner du contraste ici, je pense qu'il faudrait juste retravailler un peu le premier plan qui est un peu surexposé.

Bonjour Dominique,
il fallait la débusquer cette baraque, superbe, bien encadrée.
J'aime beaucoup les lumières que tu as réussi à nous capturer, spéciales. En fait quand je vois cet arbre, il me semble me souvenir de cette maison.
BIen cadrée avec du recul, et l'arbre à gauche faut tout son effet.
DOmmage pour cette enseigne verte trop visible.

Ah oui je me rappelle de ce petit manoir, c'est vrai que la lumiere etait pas follichone et tu en as tire qqch de tres bien en poussant un peu le PP a tel point qu'on dirait presque un HDR, bien vu l'artiste !

Tu as fort bien tiré ton épingle du jeu. Le temps peu généreux ne se voit pas, la façade bénéficie d'une luminosité agréable. La qualité d'image est parfaite comme savent le faire les photographes chevronnés et bien équipés. Bravo.

A VDA telle qu'on l'appelle au boulot nous avons un centre de formation de La Poste, mais je n'y suis jamais venu.
Bien fait d'avoir utilisé un filtre dégradé; cependant je te suggère d'essayer de moins diaphragmer pour donner une séparation de dégradé en fondu.

Dominique bonjour.
Cette petite maison est magnifique avec les briques, et son toit mansardé. On dirait un décor pour conte d'enfants. Le ciel s'est fendu d'une petite trouée de bleu que tu as su mettre à profit. Bonne utilisation du filtre gris.

The tones are very well made to the existing lighting. Good point of view and excellent frame.

I love the uniqueness of heaven: tenuous in some areas and dark in others, and the tree, with her figure strange, highly stressed.

tu as réussi à donner une belle lumière et de très belles couleurs à cette photo,il me semble qu'en réalité,c'était beaucoup plus terne!Ton mérite d'avoir réussi une aussi jolie photo n'en est que plus grand!La façade est bien éclairée,et contrastejoliment avec le ciel un peu sombre!Lé végétation qui entoure la maison est bien belle,ce qui fait que c'et très agréable à regarder!

Hello Dominique.

Another fine shot from the Lille meeting, which I wish I could have attended, but did not arrive in France at the right time. I can see the excellent effect of your ND filter in the sky and affecting the roof of the building, with a bright luminosity below that. Nice composition to show this lovey house and the savagely pruned tree in juxtaposition. Excellent colours and exquisite detail - I can almost read the sign. Nicely done.
