The Old Market Tower.
Ok, let's say it : that's a classical view. I know it, but I think Lille is one of the most underestimated city in France (northern France is disliked by most of French people, viewed as grey, cloudy, sad, poor...). This picture is another proof that Lille is a beautiful city, with a lot of monuments and architectural value - thanks to the flemish and Renaissance styles.
Bon, d'accord, c'est une photo très classique du beffroi de "la vieille Bourse" de Lille. Mais cette ville est tellement sous-estimée que je ne résiste pas à la volonté de démontrer le contraire.

Very pretty sunset colors.
The tower is nicely framed with the shaded areas.
I really like the architecture. I have never seen it before, thanks for sharing.

Bonjour Pendragon,
Très belle photo du beffroi de Lille.Tu as bien fait de prendre cette photo à la verticale. Cela accentue l'enchevêtrement d'habitations dans cette grande ville. Le beffroi se détache bien de la rue grâce à la lumière du soleil...
