Photographer’s Note
I really liked the sunlight in the golden reeds and the crowd of trees in the background
The Moats of the Lille Citadel, built by Vauban in 1671, during the reign of Louis XIV. The famous french military architect called it "the Queen of the Citadels". Very well kept, it's now a peaceful waulking place for the inhabitants of Lille.
Grey herons fish in the moats, it's quite easy to see them.
