FRANCAIS:
Quand on fait un tour dans une autre région, parfois on trouve des trucs que on n'avait pas encore vu. Ceci était le cas pour moi dans les allentours du village de Bambecque, près de Hondschoote. Je pense que ce sont des haricots qui sont mis de cette façon pour sècher. La raison m'est inconnu (pour les semences?); malheureusement il n'y avait personne là pour demander. Donc s'il y a quelqu'un qui peut donner plus d'info: merci!

ENGLISH:
when you take a trip in another region, you sometimes see things you never saw before. This was the case for me just outside the village of Bambecque (close to Hondschoote). I think it are beans that are hanged that way to dry. The raison (for the seeds?) is unknown to me. Unfortunately there was nobody to tell me. So, if someone knows, please let me know.

NEDERLANDS:
soms kom je vreemde dingen tegen in een andere streek. Dit was voor mij zo net buiten het dorpje Bambecque (Bambeke), niet ver van Hondschoote. Ik denk dat het een soort bonen is die ze op deze manier hangen te drogen. Wat de reden ervoor is (voor het zaad?), weet ik niet. Jammer genoeg was er niemand in de buurt om meer uitleg te geven. Dus als iemand hier meer over weet...

PS: voor DonQ: deze keer ben ik een beetje vroeger ;-)

Etrange en effet ! aucune idée de quoi il s'agit... Une culture de balais de sorcière peut-être, avec Halloween qui s'en vient !
J'aime vraiment la composition avec un seul "balai" en avant plan pour y voir un peu de détail et puis le groupe en arrière plan comme une armée au garde-à-vous . Bien vu! j'espère que quelqu'un nous éclairera sur ce que c'est.

Maar Hendrik,... ik zou het helaas niets weten over manier van bonen hangen en waarom...;-)
Ik blijf volgen, ben zelf benieuwd!
Very cute foto en ik zie schaduwtjes onder de lettertjes. Nieuwe tintje is altijd goed.
Maar van alles vind ik de naam van het dorp het gaafst!. Barbecue.;-)

isn't that obvious. This is the parking lot of broom sticks for witches.
Honistly, I have no idea. Your composition is very good here, nice objects leading the eye into the picture and the light is well handled.

Eh bien, je ne sais pas non plus ce qu'est cette chose mais en tout cas, c'est très bien cadré avec celui en avant plan et la série en arrière plan. Les couleurs du ciel et du sol sont également superbes. Bien vu, Hendrik!

Photo très bien composée et très intéressante Hendrik. Cela m'intrigue particulièrement ces éléments verticaux avec de l'embonpoint, ils possèdent tous la même position au niveau du bout de bois central. Serviraient-ils à protéger une culture naissante ? Cela m'inquiète au plus haut point Hendrik, je n'ai jamais vu cela !
Donc ! une excellente photo.

Très belle vue sur la campagne, hendrik!
Je pense qu'il s'agit bien de haricots que les paysans laissent sécher afin de pouvoir en récupérer les lingots, qui seront consommés durant l'hiver (dans une soupe par exemple). Mon père procède de la même manière avec les derniers pieds de haricots de son jardin!

Hendrik, zouden dit paarden bonen kunnen zijn?, het is moeilijk van op deze afstand te zeggen, maar de foto is in ieder geval mooi, de schaduw van de eerste ruiter en de lange serie ruiters geven een zeer goed perspectief, schitterend diepte foto, met zeer zachte kleuren. Mooi werk opnieuw.

An ingenious composition on this one, Hendrik, by placing one of the "things" in the foreground (allowing to study the details), and then having a repetitive group of them in the back. A well contrasted and crisp countryside shot, very nice. Great job on the tri-lingual note, too ;-)

Je ne pourais pas t'aider pour cet info moi mais je doit dire que je dcouvre comme un gosse cette technique .
Je vais chercher un peut sur le net pour en savoir plus.

I think you're right about drying beans, but I preffer the version that this is a reunion of cousin IT family. Great compositon with the last of the family in the foreground and really nice colours.
