On my last visit to Paris I got a chance to walk from Place de Gaulle to La Defense. Just before the bridge over Seine there is a fountain park with a view of the glass tower area at La Defense. In the morning the park was cleaned by this guy with his hose.
The whole area at La Defense and around the Grand Arc is all steel and glass with the great axis toward the Arc du Triumph cutting through it. The street is divided along the way into small parks but the scale of the buildings makes the park builders efforts on the ground into miniatures.
I have a little collection from this walk that I will post here the following days.

This is a strong composition, Ebbe. So sharp all the way, with the Arch and the high-rise buildings, the fountains and - only one human being doing his job. It's a soft color combination, with his jacket sticking out. And there's a nice off-center in the picture, that I like and also the open trapdoor looks good. Well done, and looking forward to more!

Very beautiful. All the water is great. It's nicely captured. So sharply. And the architecture is nicely captured here. This view toward the Grand Arc is great. And the clean, modern, lines of La Defense are nicely captured here. And the fact that you photographed a cleaner and all this water the sense of pure, clean, lines are accented. I especially like that green-blue building on the right. I love that glass and all the patterns of the shades and the color it adds to all the whites. Yet still clean and smooth with its lines and reflection. Great job!

Great clarity, details, colors and textures.
In your composition I think that cutting the top of the buildings at the right and leaving the others seen until the top was a smart choice as it creates a very strong notion of the distance.
The man is also a nice details because even he has a a technical look with his fluorescent jacket.

Nice scene over an extraordinary background. I like the contrast between the huge skyscrapers and the most modest activities. Composition is great too; that man on the left doesn't claim the attention of the spectator at the beginning, but then fits very well on the whole scene.
This photo requiered some sensibility.
