In generale non sono molto attratto da foto visibilmente trasformate ma qui faccio un'eccezione per via del mostro che punta minaccioso la cittā; il cielo č perfettamente in linea con questa idea di una maledizione che si sta abbattendo sulla cittā.

Ciao Andrea, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, let's stop using the same old frames which have been used, over, and over, endlessly. Of course, this is a great view of Paris. And your colors are very dramatic. But so boring, my god, so boring! Art and photography are just about SURPRISE. NOVELTY. CREATITON. ZEST OF LIFE. Not REPETITION.
I hope you do not mind my passion about this. I say, because, I'm sure you can do SO MUCH BETTER. Cheers, --amz

Well. obviosly reaction on this photo are very different.
Colour of sky IMHO is very good if you think of it as reflection of hell that rule life in almost every meglopolis such as Paris. And this statue(like Kerber watching the hell from hell's entrance) add to that feeling.
Looking on photo that way (I think that's your intention when you chose this colour for sky combined with this POV ) it is good. My only remarks goes to greenish hue over buildings and river (think it would be better in more natural colours).
I usually don't comment other peoples comment, but I just want to ask AMZINCHI to point us to one single photo of her or anybody else which can't be adressed the way she adressed this one.
Yes, this motiv is seen her on TE many time. But looking that way almost any photo from any place on world is seen 1000 time in photo of other people, each landscape could be adressed as repetion of some other photo.
I would be very happy if she could point out photo that was'nt alredy photographed.
So, this photo is good, better than many we have seen and unlike in many other photos in this one wiever can read a comment on life in big city.
Regards Darko

Ciao Andrea,
one should always leave a note to say how and why the shot came about. Some people have asked if the sky was real but you've not replied so it's very difficult for us to think of it as a 'real' photograph. Sorry, would like to leave a smiley but can't.

Not a very original composition of Paris, more that it gives me the impression of ever dejā-vu, you've managed to add a heavy half red filter processing which really looks lousy to me.
Since I quite know the place ('scuse me I live in Paris), I can assure you, Andrea, that the sky would be nothing like this red... and even if it was, the setting sun would come from the eiffel tower direction... Hence I don't understand why the buildings along the Seine banks are still pretty much white in the daylight.. they should be dark bluish, totally in the shade...
I have nothing against post-processing but the best processing is when it's not noticeable. Unfortunately, I think you really went overboard here....
