2.03p.m. - I am posting this shot at the request of Stephen (Sinquanti) who would like to see more of this place but unfortunately I did not take many shots here as we have to hurry so that we have time for the other destination too. I hoped this one will suffice. It is a simple straight forward, "just-click" shot.
At Champs Elysees you will be able to see two fountains and few palaces surrounding it – Palais de la Decouverte, Grand Palais, Petit Palais and Palais de l’Elysee. So you can see one of the fountains here and the building at the back is Palais de l’Elysee if I am not mistaken. Do correct me if I am wrong.
Stephane Le Gal (Stepan)and Prisley Stan (Prisley), both TE members took some very interesting shots of the Grand Palais recently too. Unfortunately we did not bump into each other there.
PP- Slight sharpening and adjusted level.

Excellent Composition Aloysius with the fountain occupying the left of the picture and the Grand Palais on the back right. The colors and sharpness are excellent. Great Shot.

Great picture from Paris again! Well composed, the fountain is placed well in front of the palace. I like the colours in the shot too. Well done!

very beautiful image of Paris, but it is not the Elysée palace in the background, but the Crillon hotel, your photo was taken on the "place de la Concorde", and the begin of the "Champs Elysée" avenue is located just a little on the left your photograph.

Hi Aloysius, You have done a good job taking this shot and go picture. You have selected a good PoV to make use of the sun light angle for this picture. Good shot to capture the water drops. Nice and clear image. Well done.

You have a nice "regard" to paris and offer a very clear photo of this beautiful fountain.
Nobdy is around and you give by this POV a great picture of the town.
I like it

Hai Aloysius, I like this "just click" shot. Nice blue sky and the DOF is good. The building behind and the foutain are sharp.

The is quite an impressive shot. The fountain of (youth)!!, in the front and the beautiful building at the rear. Good arrangement. Why not dispose an inch of the bottom. I believe this image will look better without those excess allowance at the bottom.
Nice holiday shots, pal.

Good to see you had sun to enjoy Paris, good catch of the fountain and an attractive mix of green and golden parts, before reading the comments I was thinking about it and the comments confirmed it, it's the "Place de la Concorde", the starting place of the "Champs Elysees". From a compo point of view, I think you could have stepped back a little and shot a bit more to the right, to off center the fountain and include the street perspective we see beginning on the extreme right here, just an idea.
Have a nice day,

Beautiful bright colours. Always interesting which POV somebody will choose when he takes a picture of a place thousands have done before. I little bit more the left, or e little bit more to the right. It’s all possible and done before. But only your own choice counts.

Hi Aloysius. Thanks for posting this! I hardly ever see shots here on TrekEarth. This shot is excellent with the beautifully architecture all over. It looks bright out but you managed it well. Thanks again Aloysius!

A very well composed shot which highlights both the fountain and the magnificent building. I like your low angle POV and the soft pastel colours. The fountain spray enhances. Very well seen and captured, Aloysius.

I like this walk in Paris, with you. I've tried a WS to enhance the colors of that foutain I discovered only a few months ago (should be my next serie). Hope you'll like it. Concerning the building, dom inik m answered you...
PS : thanks for you kind note

An excellent shot of this beautiful fountain. You got very lucky to have the place only for you for a few moments, especially at 2 PM. The place of "La Concorde" is always full of tourists. Very beautiful colors and very nice sharpness.

I like the subtle yellow vs blue color contrast. The low pov works well. Excellent lighting, sharpness, & color. Well done!
