Photographer's Note

One of the many exquisite ceilings in the Louvre museum in Paris. One can only marvel at the beauty of the rooms in this former palace. I wonder what it was like for the peasantry the first time they feasted their eyes on these interiors after the revolution. I'm sure they were stunned speechless because it literally takes your breath away. The opulence is mind boggling.
