Photographer's Note

The Château de Versailles, which has been on UNESCO’s World Heritage List for 30 years, is one of the most beautiful achievements of 18th-century French art. The site began as Louis XIII’s hunting lodge before his son Louis XIV transformed and expanded it, moving the court and government of France to Versailles in 1682. Each of the three French kings who lived there until the French Revolution added improvements to make it more beautiful.

Bonjour, cher ami Ovidiu,
Superbe présentation du château et de ses jardins.
La Monarchie déchue, le château est quelque peu abandonné. Jusqu'à ce que Louis Philippe décide bien après la révolution que le Château de Versailles devait être transformé en musée.
Une très belle réalisation (mais cela, ce n'est pas nouveau).

A beautiful chateau with nice architectural details captured under nice blue sky. I like the different colored flowers in the foreground. The image is well lit with beautiful rich colors and sharpness.

You're capturing well this architecture by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive and interesting to see the Château de Versailles with elegant/beautiful style. And, colorful flowers blooming at courtyard draw out additional good atmosphere in this image as well as blue sky with clouds.

A nicely composed and well rendered photo. The colours are rich but do not look unnatural. I like the softness of the clouds. Some photographers would have ruined this shot with too much saturation and contrast. I like very much the view of the famous palace above the flowers in the foreground. Nice work.

almost every area inside the frame is taken.
and even though there are really only 2 subjects, there is so much to see :)
