Photographer's Note

Reflections in buildings situated in front of the basin Takis in La Defense.

This is an aquatic surface on which are put 49 multicolored bright lights of different heights (between 3,50 and 9 meters) seeming to have risen on spring.

A spectacular one Jean Jacques with lots happening. The sculptures/lights get a bit lost in front of the great reflections but I still do like it.

Tu nous présentes aujourd'hui un monde de fantasie et de couleur, c'est pour ça que j'aime les reflets. Photo très atractive, les lampes/sculpture sont bien originales.

Hello jean-jacques,

Cette vue vient à propos après la diffusion hier soir sur M6 d'un reportage interessant sur La Défense.
Ici avec le bassin et les sculptures de Takis tout semble irréel, les reflets d'abord parent les façades d'images éphémères au gré des lumières et en plus le fond du bassin peut ici être pris pour une pelouse.
Le choix d'un cadrage vertical est judicieux pour cette image qui a un peu des allures de mosaïque.

seems like there are SOOO many photo opps at this location.
lovely color splashes.
lots of cool looking subjects to look at, and the height of the photo attracts the eye upwards.
