Pedestrian crossing the Passerelle Solférino brige, River Seine, Paris. The Passerelle Solférino brige connects the Louvre on the right bank with the Musee D'Orsay on the left bank.
This is the third bridge across the Seine in this location. The first, inaugerated by Alenxander III lasted 100 years before being weakened by vehicular traffic. In 1961 a temporary steel bridge was errected, which in turn was demolished in 1992 allowing this new footbridge to be errected. The bridge is of interesting design with a cantilevered lower deck rising up from the quai on the north bank to join the upper deck which links the upper level of both banks of the Seine.

Very nice and graphical view of the passerelle. I like the perspective of the bridges beneath the passerelle and the silhouette that brings in a touch of humanity.
Great composition with all the crossed lines, it looks like a fan unfolding.

I really like this picture.
The composition is really good and since it inspires me I made a WS.

Great picture. Too bad it is badly pixelised (really visible on the oblique lines)
As for your information the Passerelle is connecting "Les Jardins des Tuileries" not the Louvre to the "Musee D'Orsay" not Dorsee.

amusant ce close up au zoom de ces éléments architecturaux. Bel éclairage aux tonallités crayeuses, et bonne définition des détails jusqu'au lointain. Bravo David pour cette nouvelle vision parisienne des ponts de la seine

Excellent graphical photo, I would expect a B&W here ... I really like the version of Cyril.
