Paris Gay pride (1) Photo

Photographer’s Note

Last saturday was held the parisian gay pride, an ideal place to shoot portraits-) 750.000 attenders and performers went through Paris between 2pm and 8pm. A very cheerful and gay crowd;-)) lol I loved this couple of two girls on a harley davidson... Maybe they will be the first lesbian couple to get married...hot subject at the moment in the media and the political arena... I have been very respectful of all people i have portrayed during that afternoon (around 300 pics shot!)and i sure hope those pics will not offend anybody on TE...beacause there is no reason why it should;-)

Sweet... I like your choice of subjects ... very diverse, very universal. Even the blurry detail the background shows the diversity of the gay/lesbian/bi/trans community. Good capture!

Le thème est intéressant et le sujet très beau. Le portrait de ce couple est magnifique. Le personnage devant très net et le deuxième légèrement flou ça donne une dimention plaisante à l'ensemble. Ciao/jr

Jooooli ! Et puis au moins t'es pas comme moi, tu te fends d'une explication très vivante en anglais. Rien que pour ça, on devrait pouvoir te mettre le double de points. Vite, d'autres images :-)

Very nice shot for the Gay Pride Day! And the blured backgground scene gives a feeling of event. This pic reminds me my first Gay Pride Parade in Paris, ten years ago. At that time I felt the presence of 40.000 gay people absolutly extraordinary ... :-)

Une façon un peu différente de présenter une gay pride, cela change des shot de chariots exotiques. J'aime beaucoup ce cadrage serré qui laisse la place pour un arrière-plan. Très bonne PDC également, un excellent shot Eric !

Un sujet d'actualité intéressant avec une première belle approche. Cadrage un peu haut à mon goût mais excellent contraste et surtout, un plan rapproché de ce couple qui prend une grande présence ainsi. Mais bon, le lointain flouté le replace dans une dimension plus générale...

Comme je ne comprends pas bien l'anglais, la note en français serait pas plus mal puisqu'il y a les deux possibilités.

Here in Spain, hopefully, marriage between same sex people will be possible at the beginning of 2005, a good new we should celebrate with this picture of you: Far from composition (very good, maybe a lower position while taking it would be advisable, but it´s more than OK like this), you achive to portrait that there is nothing but prejudices involving this subject, because it´s just love and in front of it, god and society has nothing to say. Thanks for the photo and for the note.
