Photographer’s Note
At the end of the newest bridge across the Seine in Paris is a cascade of water down to a park below. I shot fast to catch the water. With the aperture so wide the observers melt into the background and I quite like the effect of them being anonymous but still clearly watching the water as it falls.

Hi Inigo,
I like the effect you have created with the focus on the water and the out of focus people. Nice lines and good choice for black and white.

good example you set here, a fantastic demonstration of DOF, very experimental, and really nice.

Beautiful shot, of great originality - I love the flou, blurry figures at the top, and the use you made of the vertical format. Your BW tones are super.
Nice work!

Hello Inigo.
Well done camera work. You have chosen the right settings and it pays off with this shot. The water and foreground clarity is very good. I also like the pople melting into the background, it adds great depth to you picture.
Best wishes,
Chris

I love the selective focus in this image. It works very well and together with the fast shutter speed and great contrasts it gives the image an almost 3D feeling.
