The Champs de Mars was my playground when I was a child. It has not changed since, with the alleys, the guignol, the merry-go-round and the funny-shaped trees + the Eiffel Tower, like a cerise sur le gateau. It was a rainy day, with dull colors, so, by playing with a few "ameliorations" on iphoto, this picture became, for my painter's eyes, quite jolly. The intense young green and the red-ocre earth.
What do you think?

Very nice composition and great reflection of the Eiffel Tower on the water. Very original shot. Great colours and textures. Really a wonderful picture!

This photo has good merits for being posted on Trek. Its always good to use a pathway or lines as a lead in to your picture. But added to that I see the tip of Eiffel in the puddle. Nice work. What I do is try and find a larger puddle and then get nice and low to capture a larger reflection. By playing with the "ameliorations" on iphoto ytou have lost the plants detail. I know this is your desired look but the result looks like there is something missing in the plants...detail...over saturation..If you are going to modify it make it more noticable...that is just an personal opinion only. The oveeral impression is very nice though. I prefer to stay away from altering photos...usually...most of the time.
