I came across this impromptu cycle park whilst wandering the side streets of the Marais quarter of Paris.
I liked the strong graphical lines offered by he railings against the paler colours of the background architecture. Hope you do too.

wow! No doubt an interesting place for parking cycles. Great visualisation and nice presentation with the fence with parallel bars. A nice one. Tfs.

You are right about the b/g, darker colours would have prevented the strong verticals from standing out and would, also, probably have had the same effect on the bicycles.
As it is, this is an interesting combination of verticals and circles. You have chosen a fine, angled view, with the red door causing us to look into the b/g.
I am impressed with your poor weather photography!
Have a great day,

Like the choice of angle and POV to shoot this unique cycle parking place. You are correct, the BG lighter colours has helped the iron railings to stand out nicely. The single cycle parked on the ground does well to break the monotony. Well seen and taken. Thanks for sharing.

nice originality here. I like the graphical effect and using the diagonal balances the composition perfectly. Could almost be a piece of art in the Tate Modern!

Je ne crois pas qu'originalement, cette clôture était conçue pour y attacher des vélos, mais c'est maintenant la mode.De plus, si il y a une inondation ils ne seront pas engloutis.

The same system see we in Ghent, otherwise becomes your bike stolen.
Maybe not artistic but very efficient.
Sharpness and clarity are pleasant to look at.
Also these picture is nice, you choose a very well angle, this gives perspective and depth.
Excellent composition, nice presentation too..

Well spotted, great photo of these bikes attached to the railings, I like the one which to be different or more like, the guy was in a hurry, hanging on to the first step.
