I'm not 100% sure, but I think I took this one at the métro station of Franklin D. Roosevelt. That day I took line 1 from one end (Chateau de Vincennes) to the other (La Défense) and stepped out every now and then. This line has been modernized. It has electric doors that open only when the métro arrives. The station is very beautiful, in golden tones.

Nice picture of this modern line (just 2 lines are automated). I like the mix of yellow and grey tones, from which the exit sign stands out. I really like the framing, with this woman and a little perspective.

Beautiful: yes, but a bit spooky too, with so few people about. Somehow it has a foreboding feeling about it, as if something nasty is about to happen. Maybe I've been watching too many chiller movies...
