Ephemeral street art exhibition located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris just steps from the Gare d'Austerlitz and the City of Fashion and Design, Tower 13 is visible until October 31 before the planned demolition at the end of year. The building was invested by four to twenty artists from around the world. 10 levels, 36 apartments have been repainted, with broken walls to create openings and moods changing from one room to another. Only 49 people can enter at a time - for security reasons - the queues are getting longer and it sometimes takes up to six hours before entering. For those who have not the time or the courage to do their heels for hours, Paris Normandie offers a tour of the interior of the premises.
Practical information: Tower 13, 5 to Fulton Street 75013 Paris. Open to the public until 31 October, Tuesday to Sunday from 12am to 20pm.

really? this building is being torn down? does that realy have to happen?
I think it adds alot to the city, adds a rustic charm, not to mention all the artwork.
it livens the city streets, I absolutely love it.
what a shame.
excellent post for TE, as we don't usually see this side of Paris.
