When it comes to musical performance, musicians are always concerned that their performance is never perfect. There is always something; they say. For photographers, there could never be a perfect photo. There is always something; we say. This portrait of three singers was taken during a break. There was very little time; this photo is one of the two that I took that day. Each one of the singers was giving me a different look, especially the lady in the back who started sneezing. I thought it was all right for me to go ahead and take the shot. But it turned out, as you can see. It may be a default as far as taking the perfect portrait is concerned, but I find that the imperfection brought by unexpected happenings is always a part of a photo of this nature. And I am also learning to accept it as a part of life.

Funny the moment taken, Nubo, I am sure you hadn't had in mind to catch this - but yet, a lovely outcome.
Magnificent costume colors.
Enjoy your weekend,

mi piacciono le diverse espressioni che hai colto sui loro volti in una composizione ben inquadrata.
Il lavoro il PP ha rafforzato le tinte e regalato una bella tonalitŕ.

Wonderful note, Nobu! I am enjoying the different expressions, especially the girl in the center who seems quietly amused by something. You could describe this as a slice of life...but the three are perfectly and harmoniously arranged against the background which is a credit to the photographer! I always get into too much of a hurry in situations like this - you have done a wonderful job to capture this so well.
Arthur Rubinstein used to say that if he had not made a mistake, he had not taken any chances...so much for perfection! :-)

Salut cher Nobu
Oooh I know exactly what you mean. I have recently been asked to take photos at a child's confirmation and at a wedding. Getting any group of people to all "behave" is I am sure a matter of luck than skill :) Anyway, I love the colours and costumes of these mademoiselles. Their different looks and attitudes are individually very interesting to study.
Thanks for sharing, have a good Sunday

Hello dear Nobu-san
A very nice triple portrait. Your subjects knew you were taking their picture, were pretty concious about the fact & yet were not really looking at you directly, but obliquely..that makes the photo very sweet. Their dresses are right from the mediaval ages. Well done Nobu-san

You had a good vantage point to shoot this period drama. The expressions on the women's faces is immediately eye catching. Well composed, perfectly exposed, flawlessly scanned. It's just a very good photo. Do you do your own scanning, or do send it out?

A lovely image and very natural too. I like the expressions on their faces. The lady who is holding her nose cracks me up. I like the colorful costumes they are wearing. Your note says it all. It is always a pleasure to photograph these wonderful people who give everything expecting nothing. Nice sharp and colorful image.

I like this image very much, First I like the position of the musicians, and the contrast of their colorful dresses with the tones of the facade in the back, it's a different image,
Have a nice weekend!
