This looks ... well familiar :))) After spending my last weekend in Paris after being away for far too many years, I have a closer look what other people did there. Funny enough my first Paris upload the other day was a reading woman too but a little different than you show it. In this one I like that we can see the architecture, just a touch of it but we get a great idea, you make people curious. I only agree, the stone blends together, from one end to the other. Amazing. December was probably a good time for visiting, early March not bad either but it fills up with tourists faster than you think. Great shot, Ken, this is really good, so much Paris, everything is there that reminds me of my own weekend. Best regards, Barbara.

An interesting image with several Parisian architecture styles, a couple of Paris icons, and this one woman bundled up reading on the steps. This is Paris away from the tourist venues - everyday people doing everyday things. Well seen.

Paris is Paris: a wonderful place. And your image is great. I love the different colours of the old stones. About the girl: we do hope she was waiting for a boy...or not?
