Photographer’s Note

Yesterday, it was the last day for our "cantina" a little restaurant where we liked to go, and find musicians, painters, social-workers etc.
Last menu this wednesday 13th december, the café-restaurant is now closed.. I will upload some shots next..
Look in the WS the ultimate dish, french "bourguignon" beef marinated in red wine during a night and cooked
in with some smoked lardons, oignons, spices and served with fresh french fries...

A year ago, in this place, there was a "joke-events" about the painter-film maker and poete Jean Cocteau changed in Jean Bocteau. THe son of the boss is also a painter.

J'aime bien l'angle des photos. Le boeuf bourguignon a pas mal de grain mais je le mangerais quand-même. La cuisine belge connaît un plat similaire, 'les carbonnades flamandes'. Ce plat est également une spécialité gantoise et s'appelle 'Gentse stoverij'. Comme nous n'avons pas de vin nous utilisons de la bière (Gueuse ou Rodenbach).

Un vue trés tiltée pour fêter la fermeture, aurait-elle été trés arrosée ?

Salut l'amiral sur le plancher des vaches.
Je choisirai donc une omelette aux herbes avec de la salade et un pichet de rosé, mais pas de poitrine de porc :)
Cadrage très original avec une bonne luminosité ambiante, mais ça sent un peu l'odeur du tabac.
Prêt pour le resto pour un dimanche prochain ou un samedi suivant.
