Photographer’s Note
Chapel built in 1136 was a part of a group of buildings know under the name of Maladrerie de Saint Blaise. The Maladrerie was pulleddown. The abandoned chapel is all that remains.
In 1958 the land around the chapel was cleared in order to create a medecinal berbs garden.
Inside the chapel the décoration of the walls was carried out by the talented Jean Cocteau, honorary citizen of Milly la Foret.
Since april 23 M, 1964, at the request of his family, Jean Cocteau lies inside the Chapel.

Bonsoir Cedric,
J'aime la prise de vue en diagonale et la lumière frisante qui joue sur la chapelle.
Amitis Joseph
