Castle of Chevry-in-Serene
Historical general information:
The castle was built under Louis XIII per Charles Duret, general controller of Finances and secretary of the order of the Holy Spirit.It belongs to the marquis de Laubespin, descendant direct of the hero of American Independence.Private castle.
Civil architecture:
Castle (classified historic building) built about 1633, of brick and sandstone:rectangular main building flanked of 2 houses of angle, main courtyard, ditches dry, 2 stone bridges; formal garden.
Technical aspect:The choice was made on a symmetrical sight, for those which do not like, it exists in workshop an asymmetrical sight.The debate is open!
