Photographer’s Note

Market of the XVIIème century.

Market-hall registered with the inventory of the historic buildings dating from the XVIIème century. It comprises 30 pillars, its frame is in chestnut, which in addition to its solidity and its longevity would have the advantage of driving out the spiders and other insects.

Une jolie batise, bon point de vue, le ciel me semble tout de même un peu trop saturée, tout du moins sur mon écran. La lumière est douce et agréable

Une image impressionante, Philippe, avec une si belle lumière. Les couleurs sont très belle , saturées mais tuot en restant naturelles. J'aime beaucoup la cadrage ansi que cette magnifique visibilité sur la Market-hall.

bonjour philippe, there is something in this image which makes me love the place: you photographed it in the way that we can feel the rumour of tha 17th century traders shouting, negotiating prices, convincing buyers to purchase their goods...

Il y a dans l'Yonne, notamment, 2 belles halles, l'une à Pontigny, près de l'abbaye cistercienne, l'autre, circulaire, près de Chaource, de toute beauté également...ahhh ce magnifique patrimoine qui faut absolument conserver...

Hi Philippe,
A great view of this market hall. The clarity is outstanding, and I like the play of light and shadow on the interesting roof. The POV is well chosen, as the eye follows the wooden pillars at an angle into the frame. The house in the background helps balance and enhance. A great capture of an interesting subject.

A very beautiful showing of this fine old market hall, Philippe. An admirable structure that is still in remarkably good shape, and your diagonal shooting angle was ideally selected to fit all of it into the frame. I also like the play of light and shadow which enhances the view.

belle prise Philippe, le cadrage est bien ainsi que les teintes très douces de la région sud Gâtinais. (Gâtinais oriental)
A Puiseaux aussi il y a une belle halle, de même qu'à Milly la Forêt mais là, elle est située en zone commerciale intense avec parking, les photos sont plus dures à cadrer. Mais le jour de marché, c'est très vivant.

Je sa rappeler une photo de vous, avec même un type le de marché endroit. Mais ceux-ci sont plus jolis qu'autre, et aussi plus grande avec sa trois les colonnes alignent. Le bois construction a été présenté bien, chêne bois fait tous. Bien la perspective et parfaitement de couleur.

Hi Philippe, It is very considered to have the market place covered. Nice PoV and good perspective view to have a clear view of the structure. Good view of the building under the sunny sun shine with the long shadow. Good sharpness and clarity.

C'est une splendide architecture que l'on rencontre quelque fois dans les villages de France, aussi bien conservée et entretenue. C'est aussi un beau témoignage du passé. Le cadrage est excellent, quel chance de profiter d'un moment où la place est vide et nous permet de contempler l'ensemble de cette halle.

* NOTE: Bonjour Philippe - Pour éviter de multiples inscriptions d'un seul et même lieu et faciliter la recherche d'un lieu, il est important d'écrire tous les substantifs et adjectifs avec une majuscule au début du nom et une minuscule à l'intérieur du nom, de ne pas utiliser d'abréviations (St > Saint) et d'utiliser systématiquement un trait d'union entre les composants sauf après l'article initial (Le, La, Les, L').
Il faudrait donc écrire dans la case ville: Beaumont-du-Gatinais au lieu de: Beaumont-en-Gatinais.

Pourriez-vous, s'il vous plaît, effectuer ce changement en cliquant sur "Editer" dans la colonne à gauche de votre photo?
