The Seine river was specially quiet, with a nice sunset coming. Good timing for chasing water reflections. Instead of that, I found three youngster trying to catch some fish on the bank. I took a few shots of them. This is the best one, before they realized being photographed. I said them it would be on TE today.

Nice shot, but I would be tempted to crop off some of the foreground as it's a bit distracting right now. But the image is excellent. You really captured the mood of summer fishing quite well...just the foreground...

A very pleasant enviromental portrait of the young boy...I love the soft atmospheric colors and the simplw composition...Very very well done!

This photo is just terrifically well composed. The diagonal line of the land, as well as the positioning of the boy are so well done. I do find the shot to be just a little soft however, and the colors lack some punch as well. I think much of this is simply due to a lack of post processing, and not really a fault with how the shot was taken. I have done a two minute fix in photoshop to post for a workshop. It is not carefully done, but I do think it is an improvement.

No wind, no waves, no fish ? Nice to see young boys still enjoy fishing instead of video games. Every day shot and well done.
So simple and nice. Darren made a very good WS on this one.

great compo, the fishing line is parallel to the surface...or should I say to the flowers.
there is somthing funny about the way the kid is standing ..his shoes gives u a feeling that his body is twisted..like his feet were on the ground and his body turned 180 degress..
