Photographer’s Note

The "Armada" is the 5th edition of the gathering of the sailing ships of the world in Rouen, Norman port located on the Seine between Le Havre and Paris.
It was of the 4 at July 14, 2008.
Several million spectators came to see them on the quays during 10 days or along the banks of the Seine yesterday at the time of their departure towards the sea.
32 sailing ships and 13 warships come from 25 different countries were present.
The photograph was taken this last sunday morning early and are visible from left to right the Mexican boat " Cuautehmoc" , the Dutch boat " J.R. Tolkien" and the " Christian Radish" Norwegian boat.
Behind, at the bottom, the arrow of the cathedral of Rouen which align with the masts of the sailing ships.
