Photographer's Note
Born in Rouen, Pierre Corneille was a French tragedian who was one of the three great seventeenth-century French dramatists, along with Molière and Racine. He has been called “the founder of French tragedy”.
That monument was erected for his memory in theatre des arts subway station.
He wrote famous productions among others : médée, la toison d'or, horace and le cid.

The facade of the theater seems very beautiful , and the statue was very well shown. I'd rather have a more wide view, showing the entire building, or instead a close up on the statue. Any way nice details were shonw, which was good. Well done!

Bonsoir Miguel,
Your attention was on the statue, yet I see a remarkable facade of the theatre behind.
Maybe a wider perspective would be more adequate, but this'd be my preferences only.
Nice view on the statue, we know see that back in th 17th century people had 50+/- yearsof lifespan, and he was right in mid-scale of the statistic's.
Nice weekend,
Ike

Hello Miguel,
your composition is very good and you've achieved an effective association between the statue of the great author and the facade of the theatre. I like the association of the scriptures too. I think that the view would be more comfortable if there was more space and a stronger chromatic contrast at the top of the composition. Depth and sharpness are wonderful. Well done and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,
Ourania

Hello Miguel
The fg flowers add a welcome splash of colour. Good sharpness and a nice upward pov on the statue. I might have added a little yellow red to add some warming colours. Good sharpness on the embossed text. Bon weekend!
